Van Rooijen Logistics considers education and training of great importance. Van Rooijen Logistics enables its employees to continually develop their knowledge and skills. We offer a wide range of training opportunities to our employees and give them the chance to grow within the company. An example is that all our chauffeurs regularly take courses to improve traffic safety and reduce fuel consumption. To support our chauffeurs in traffic safety, all our lorries are equipped with blind spot mirrors and cameras. Upon their initiative, we regularly support our employees in following courses to stimulate their development and interests.
Driving to work is not always easy. Muddy roads, insufficient parking places and increasing parking fees often make driving unpleasant and slow. This is why Van Rooijen Logistics has designed a special bicycle plan which all our employees can join. Cycling to work is not only better for the environment, but it improves the well-being of the employee.
Apart from ensuring the development of our permanent employees, we also offer students the chance to take part in a wide range of internships at various levels within the company. Van Rooijen Logistics is certified by a number of recognised apprenticeship associations, among which Are from VTL Leerbedrijf and Innovam Leerbedrijf, and it also has an ECABO Certificate.
